Delete Your Account or Data
Reflect — Household Wellness Coach · Last updated: July 2026
This page explains how to delete your Reflect account and all associated
data, or how to delete just your stored data while keeping your
account. You can delete everything yourself from inside the app in seconds, or request deletion by
email if you can no longer access the app.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open Reflect and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Subscription & Account, then Permanently Delete Account.
- Enter your password to confirm (email accounts) and confirm the deletion.
Your account and its data are deleted right away, and you're signed out on every device.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the email address on your account:
We verify the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials (email/password or Google login).
- All conversation transcripts — on your device and any transcripts synced to our servers.
- Your insights, coaching chat history, voice profiles, and app settings.
- Your registered devices.
Audio is never stored. Speech is transcribed on your device and the audio is
discarded immediately — it is never uploaded, so there is no stored audio to delete.
Delete your data without deleting your account
If you want to keep your account but remove your stored data:
- Export first (optional): Settings → Export My Data saves a copy of your transcripts and insights as a JSON file.
- Request data deletion: email reflectaisupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" from your account email, and we'll erase your stored transcripts and insights while leaving your account active. Completed within 30 days.
Because audio is never stored, there is never any stored audio to delete.
What we keep, and why
To comply with law and prevent abuse, a small amount of data may be retained after deletion:
- Free-trial record: your email address and the date your free trial started.
This prevents the same email from repeatedly claiming a new free trial. It contains no
conversation content and is not used for any other purpose.
- Billing records: subscription and payment records held by Google Play, which
Google may retain to meet tax and legal obligations. Reflect never stores your card details.
Data retention
Transcripts synced for analysis are retained for a maximum of 90 days in normal operation, and are
removed immediately when you delete your account (aside from the limited records listed above).
